Round 3

The top five will compete in the selection process to determine the winner of the Dayton’s CW Star Contest. The winner will be selected by a combination of judging panel votes, online votes, creative assignments, background check and station management input. Online votes will be collected at daytonscw.com from 3/18/13 at 12:00pm until 11:59p on 3/24/13. Votes are counted by full play (start to finish) of a 60 second piece that will be recorded out in the community. Each finalist will be contacted once by email and once in person by station staff to schedule the oncamera piece. Failure to respond to such contacts within 24 hours may result in disqualification.

Online votes will constitute 49% or less of the final decision. Creative assignments are required for a chance to win and include blogging and scheduled events. All finalists will be required to create their own online promotional tactics via social media sites, face to face and guerilla marketing at their own expense.
