LONDON (AP) — Kiefer Sutherland thinks his new TV show "Touch" will break down cultural barriers.
The star of the action-packed "24" says the new science fiction drama series by writer Tim Kring focuses on the similarities between different cultures and faiths. Sutherland says that's unique for a U.S. show, approaching "something from the perspective of 'What are the things that we have in common?'"
"Touch" features Sutherland as Martin Bohm, the father of a super-intelligent mute son with a unique ability to connect with the world and find patterns in it.
The show's international outlook means "Touch" will launch simultaneously in many countries around the world. It premieres March 22 in the U.S on Fox and in the U.K. on Sky1 HD.
