(CNN) – Madonna is still the queen of pop. She topped the Billboard Top 200 album chart for the eighth time. The only female with more No.1 albums is Barbra Streisand with nine.

Her latest release "MDNA" has already sold 359,000 units, giving her the biggest album debut of 2012.
The 53-year-old beat out Lionel Richie, who's new country album took second place.

This marks the Material Girl's fifth consecutive studio album to reach the top of the charts.

Also helping sales, Madonna's upcoming world tour, which kicks off in May.
