Michelle Kingsfield can be seen weekdays on 2 NEWS at 5 p.m., 5:30 p.m., 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. and at 10 p.m. on Dayton's CW, WBDT-TV.
 
Kingsfield joined the 2 NEWS team October 2007, but already called Dayton home. Michelle worked at WKEF-TV and WRGT-TV in Dayton since 1999, where she co-anchored the evening newscasts.  She also worked at WXLV-TV in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and KODE in Joplin, Missouri.
 

In 2004, Kingsfield was diagnosed with stage four non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma while pregnant with her second child.  Viewer letters and e-mails along with community support greatly helped with her recovery. She delivered a healthy son in 2005 and remains in full remission.  Kingsfield lives in Centerville and is the proud mother of two wonderful sons.

Michelle donates a lot of her time to local charities.  She's on the board of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and is involved with many other charities including the March of Dimes, The Miami Valley Down Syndrome Society  and the American Cancer Society.
