Ala. police led on chase by naked driver

HOOVER, Ala. (AP) — Hoover police say a naked driver led police on a low-speed chase through Hoover, hitting up to eight vehicles along the way.

WBRC reports that the incident began Monday afternoon at a Ford dealership when the man hit two cars. He fled the scene in a car and was followed by a police officer.

Police say he hit additional cars along the way before being pulled from his car at gunpoint. It was then that police realized he wasn't wearing any clothing.

The man was taken to the hospital for treatment for minor injuries. His name was not released.

No one was seriously injured in the wrecks.
