A fairwell to the Intern blog

Hey Dayton’s CW fans! It is Tessie the intern. I haven’t chatted with you in almost week! Hope you all have been tuning into the Dayton’s CW and been enjoying your summer. I have to break the news that my internship here at the Dayton’s CW is coming to an end this week. I am very upset that my time is over here at this great station with all my wonderful coworkers! Luckily, I can stay tuned to what is going on here with Facebook, Twitter, and daytonscw.com when I return to school this fall! It will be like I never left! I will be returning to the University of Kentucky to complete my senior year as an Integrated Strategic Communications major. This internship has given me so much hands-on experience with advertising and promotions and I could not be more grateful to have spent my summer here at the Dayton’s CW! I will miss updating you all with the “inside” Dayton’s CW scoop but if you’re lucky maybe a new intern will do the same for you soon this fall!

Some exciting news for you is that this Saturday, August 4th the Dayton’s CW street team will be out at our last pool promotions visit! Here is the rundown of where we will be between 12-4pm:

Black Oak Swim Club
The Christopher Club
Club Marinole

As always, our Dayton’s CW street team will be handing out free giveaways to all of you who are out of the pools Saturday! We have lots of fun summer items like koozies for you drinks, frisbees to toss with friends, and beach balls to play with! And those are just some of the items we will have! All of our items are sporting the upcoming fall show ARROW! ARROW is premiering on October 10th on the Dayton’s CW! This show will be action packed and full of excitement! I hope you will be tuning in. I am going to make sure that all my friends in Lexington, Kentucky will be tuning in as well when I return! I hope that I see you out at the local pools for our last Dayton’s CW street team this Saturday! Thanks for keeping up with this blog and I will surely miss chatting with you!
