Students, faculty, and staff of Valley View high school all gathered this morning for CW-WDTN sponsored WAIT2TXT Presentation.

Sgt. Andcik from the German Township Police Department spoke about the legal consequences that can occur if you are caught texting and driving.

AT&T representative Tom Smith discussed a new app that is available for smart phones that will help texters let people know when they are in transit and it will take away that temptation to text.

Four young ladies stayed after the presentation to give their feedback on texting and driving. While they all agreed the law will prevent some people from texting and driving they think that other people, particularly teens, may have to learn the hard way.
