BEAVERCREEK,Ohio (WBDT) - Most college students are enjoying the poolside everyday or working in a boring office trying to scrounge money for the fall semester. I however break that stereotype. I get the honor of interning for one of hottest stations in Dayton this summer, Dayton’s CW.

Most people dread the 7 a.m. alarm in the morning that means - it’s time to get out of bed and get ready for work. I however embrace it and look forward to seeing what new ideas the CW has to offer. I also love coming to work knowing that my bosses and the interns want to be here with me to make our network that much better. The life of an intern starts now ….

Hey guys! It’s Caitlin here ready to give you the scoop on what’s going on at Dayton’s CW this summer!  Before I give you the inside on Dayton’s CW, I want to let you know who I am and what I’m all about!

I’m home for the summer from Bowling Green, Ohio. I’m a current Falcon at Bowling Green State University studying in Broadcast Journalism. That’s right this face wants to be on television. I’m easy to pick out on campus with my blonde hair, short stature and running attire representing BG’s Cross County and Track and Field team. But enough about me lets get back to the scoop on Dayton’s CW.

Dayton is not only getting hit with a heat wave this summer, but is also getting hit with Dayton’s CW Street Team.  We plan on hitting up all of Dayton’s hottest events going on this summer.

With our summer show’s line-up coming in hot and with our fall line-up right around the corner we want to make sure that the Dayton’s CW name is getting out and word about our new shows is spreading. Be sure to come out and meet me and the other interns this summer!

We took over the streets of The Greene Friday night by handing out CW gear to everyone at this year’s Summer Block Party.  If you weren’t there you missed out on some summer fun! There was everything from live music, ice cold drinks, prizes, sky divers and of course the Dayton’s CW Street Team. But don’t worry if you missed us, we will be back out on the streets in a week at the City Folk Festival on Sunday, July 1 around 9 p.m., so be there or be … square!
