Election Talk with Wright State Students

Updated: Friday, 02 Nov 2012, 4:19 PM EDT
Published : Friday, 02 Nov 2012, 4:19 PM EDT

Three Wright State students took some time to talk about their views on the upcoming election.

They spoke about why they believe voting is important, particularly for college students. They also mentioned what issues are most concerning for them including women's rights and education.

One of the topics that kept coming up was social media. It seems that while Twitter and Facebook may not always have credible information and often is just a place for people to express their opinions, it is a great way to spread awareness about the elections. If nothing else perhaps people will be intrigued enough to do their own research on the candidates and issues.

Regardless of political affiliation it was unanimous among the three that going out to vote is imperative.
