Dark Knight Rises Premiere

The Dark Knight Rises premiered Friday July 20th at midnight in theaters across the world as one of the most anticipated films of the year. Fans of all ages gathered to see the film and several people wore costumes depicting Batman, Catwoman, Scarecrow, Two Face, Commissioner Gordon, Riddler, Harley Quinn, Hugo Strange and several other characters.
People waited in line for hours and many were prepared for the wait with laptops, books, and cards to pass the time before the midnight show. Overall, fans were pleased with the film, many of them praised Director Christopher Nolan's work as the best they've ever seen. The film grossed over $30 million from the midnight shows alone.
